JOB SUMMARY

The Groundskeeper contributes to the overall success of TAM Residential by maintaining the appearance and functionality of our apartment community’s outdoor spaces. The groundskeeper’s responsibilities will contribute to creating a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents and visitors. The groundskeeper performs a variety of tasks, including landscaping, maintenance, and general upkeep of the grounds.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Inspecting and cleaning the offices, facilities and grounds each day to maintain a clean, safe community. Assist with turning vacant units to prepare for new residents. Perform routine preventive maintenance. Maintain material and supply inventory. Landscape maintenance

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in maintenance/make ready or other related fields. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload. Deadline and detail-oriented

WORKING CONDITIONS

Ability to operate in an open work area with moderate everyday noise. Ability to work from multiple locations. Ability to perform other duties as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to frequently, and sometimes for long periods of time, sit, stand, climb and descend stairs, walk, extend arms and hands forward and overhead, using fingers to grasp, and carry. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, or stoop on occasion. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted. Must have up-close and distance vision.

BENEFITS

Associates who are regularly scheduled for and work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for company-sponsored benefits the 1st day of the month, following completion of 30 continuous days of employment.
