Role and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscaping Tractor Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a variety of landscaping tractors and equipment to perform tasks such as grading, leveling, and maintaining outdoor spaces. Work closely with the landscaping team, which consists of individuals of all abilities. Conduct daily inspections of equipment to identify any potential malfunctions or necessary mower blade replacements. Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping machinery, including tractors, mowers, skid-steers, excavators, and other related equipment. Utilize machinery to transport and distribute materials, plants, and other landscaping supplies efficiently. Follow all established safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and performing landscaping duties. Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or safety concerns to supervisors for resolution. Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate with Crew Leaders on a daily basis to provide updates on completed areas and tasks. Ensure compliance with safety requirements by consistently wearing all necessary protective gear as specified by CW Resources.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating landscaping tractors and heavy equipment. Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment. Basic understanding of landscape design and construction techniques. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in tractor operation or related field. Experience with GPS systems for landscaping machinery. Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape drainage. Experience with soil testing and grading. Ability to read blueprints or landscape plans.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up, push or pull up to 25 pounds or more. Stamina to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.). Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform manual labor as needed. Reasonable accommodations can be provided.

Environmental Demands:

Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, sun, cold temperatures). Work may involve uneven terrain and remote locations. Occasional exposure to noise, dust, and allergens.
