PM Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Groundskeeper/Property Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy equipment and managing labor, with a focus on maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our cemetery parks.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment, specifically backhoes and tractors. Manage and delegate daily work activities to labor teams. Organize tasks and communicate effectively via email and with leadership. Perform preventative maintenance on mowers, backhoes, trucks, and tractors. Engage in hands-on tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving dirt and stone (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs). Operate handheld tools and equipment including shovels, picks, rakes, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, and water pumps.

Expected Results:

Supervise, motivate, and manage cemetery foremen in a regional area. Ensure cemetery parks are maintained to high standards.

Experience Required:

Golf course maintenance, cemetery maintenance, or any type of groundskeeping. Heavy equipment operation experience. CDL preferred. Prior military experience is a plus.

Skills Required:

Grounds maintenance knowledge. Leadership abilities, potentially as a foreman. Strong communication skills.
