Job Overview:

We’re seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to serve as our Personal Landscape & Property Maintenance Assistant . Our family lives on 3 beautiful acres in Clover, SC, and we are looking for someone we can trust to help us maintain and enhance our property. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule of 12-20 hours per week, perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in their work. As this role involves working closely with our home and family, integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential. Landscaping experience is a huge plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn go a long way!

Responsibilities:

Landscape Maintenance :

Mow, edge, seed, aerate, spray, water, weed, prune, and ensure all garden beds, lawns, and plants are well-maintained.

Seasonal Tasks :

Mulch beds in the spring, leaf cleanup in the fall, snow removal (if needed), and ensuring outdoor spaces are ready for changing seasons.

Outdoor Cleanliness :

Clean windows, power wash patios, walkways, and siding, and maintain the driveway and sidewalks for a polished appearance.

Chicken Coop Care :

Feed and water chickens, clean and tidy the coop and surrounding area, and ensure their safety and comfort.

Pool Maintenance :

Keep the pool clean and operational once it’s installed this summer, including regular cleaning, water testing, and chemical balancing.

Equipment Maintenance :

Keep all house tools and equipment in excellent condition, ensuring proper cleaning, storage, and basic repairs as needed.

Minor Repairs :

Assist with light outdoor repairs or property enhancements as they arise.

Tree and Shrub Care :

Trim branches, remove debris, and ensure all trees and shrubs are healthy and visually appealing.

Additional Duties :

Organize outdoor storage, manage compost piles (if applicable), and assist with special projects or events on the property.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in landscaping or outdoor maintenance (1+ years preferred). Familiarity with power equipment such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and aerators. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while following instructions. Trustworthy, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently without supervision. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and performing labor-intensive tasks. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
