Job Overview:

We are seeking an honest, dependable, and skilled Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance department. This role requires expertise in lawn and landscape care, with a focus on pesticide and fertilizer application, horticultural knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:

Apply pesticides and fertilizers in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Identify common insects, diseases, and weeds to ensure effective treatment plans. Maintain accurate records of applications and treatments. Read, understand, and implement directives from pesticide labels and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Perform general maintenance tasks, including pulling weeds, cutting suckers, light pruning and trimming of shrubs, touching up mulch, and picking up sticks and limbs. Drive company vehicles safely throughout the Knoxville area. Uphold high standards of quality and attention to detail to keep properties looking exceptional.

Qualifications:

Required:

Valid Tennessee Pesticide Applicator Certification (Category 03 – Ornamental and Turf Pest Control). Experience in the lawn and landscape industry, with strong horticultural knowledge. Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Willingness to perform varied tasks to maintain pristine properties.
