The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various landscaping tasks to enhance and maintain outdoor spaces. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors. The Landscape Laborer will contribute to the beautification of residential and commercial properties through effective landscape maintenance and care. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers to achieve desired results. Assist in building landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Employ hand tools for planting, digging, weeding, and maintaining flower beds and gardens. Conduct groundskeeping duties including debris removal, mulching, and seasonal clean-up. Participate in snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Provide tree care services including pruning and planting as needed. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs. Skills Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques and practices. Experience with power tools and hand tools used in landscaping work. Knowledge of groundskeeping principles and best practices. Ability to dig, plant, prune, and maintain various types of vegetation effectively. Familiarity with snow plowing equipment is a plus. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work standards are met.
