This is a position that require working outdoors most of the time, so the crew leader must be prepared for all types of weather. The crew leader is responsible for crew members, making sure the work is done on time, and ensuring the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction. Require someone with a lot of leadership skills. Must be able to manage a team and be able to make quick decisions. Require use of tools, knowledge and skills. Requires that the individual be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. The crew leader must also be able to think outside the box. Require attention to detail and a lot of patience. The crew leader must be able to coordinate the work of several workers, make sure the job is done in a timely manner. Require leadership skills and experience. They must have knowledge of turf care, as well as have strong organizational skills. They must also have a good sense of detail and be able to work independently. Responsible for managing and leading a team of employees in the accomplishment of assigned goals and objectives. Responsible for the overall management and direction of the team. They will provide leadership and guidance to their teammates and work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common objectives.
