Mowing Crew Leader / Litter Pickup Sullivan County Maintenance Department 3419 Highway 126, Blountville, TN 37617 Sullivan County Maintenance is searching for a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented candidate to supervise our mowing crew and litter pickup crew. The candidate should have strong leadership skills and consistent and reliable transportation. This is a full-time position, Tuesday – Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Saturday is a MUST. Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Paid Major Holidays Retirement Job Responsibilities Oversee regular mowing / maintenance including weeding and debris removal Checking in, checking out, and completing necessary documentation for the shift Operates small and medium sized equipment, including zero-turn mowers, push mowers, weed-eaters, blowers, backpack sprayers, etc. Operates automatic vehicles including truck or bus and trailer combinations. Must be able to pull and back a trailer Conducts a final inspection as each job is complete to insure that each job is complete before moving to next job Maintains a safe and efficient work-site and cleans equipment daily and vehicle on Saturday During the off season or non operational days you would oversee the crew in performing other duties assigned within the
