Full Job Description Job Summary:

As a Lawn and Ornamental Technician at SQUASH, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and beautifying lawns, gardens, and outdoor landscapes for our valued customers. You will utilize your expertise in horticulture, pest management, and lawn care techniques to ensure the health and vitality of plants, trees, and turf.

Responsibilities:

• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed to promote healthy growth and control pests and weeds.
• Conduct soil analysis and recommend appropriate amendments to improve soil quality.
• Identify and diagnose plant diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and pest infestations, and implement effective treatment strategies.
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools necessary for lawn and ornamental care.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address their concerns, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with our services.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
• Some GHP Pest Control responsibility (As needed)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture preferred.
• Knowledge of plant identification, pest management, and turf maintenance techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pesticide applicator’s license or willingness to obtain one (if required by state regulations).
