The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and groundskeeping, with the ability to operate various power and hand tools. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and healthy. The Lawn Technician will work closely with clients to understand their landscaping needs and execute tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs as needed. Execute snow plowing duties during winter months to ensure safe access for clients. Build and maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscape elements according to design plans. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and working on-site to prevent accidents. Communicate with clients regarding their landscaping preferences and provide recommendations for improvements. must bring own equipment to job sites Experience Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment is a plus. Ability to operate various power tools safely and efficiently. Experience in hardscape installation is advantageous.
