Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lawn Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and treating lawns for pests, weeds, and diseases to ensure healthy, green landscapes. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect lawns, trees, and shrubs for pest infestations, weeds, and diseases. Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers safely and effectively. Operate and maintain spray equipment, spreaders, and other lawn care tools. Communicate with customers regarding treatment plans and lawn care recommendations. Maintain accurate service records and comply with all safety regulations. Load, unload, and transport necessary equipment and materials.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout the day. Work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.). Ability to push, pull, and operate lawn care equipment such as spreaders and sprayers. Comfortable handling and applying pesticides and fertilizers per safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous lawn care or pest control experience preferred (training provided). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to obtain and maintain state-required pest control certifications. Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
