Full Job Description Job Description:
The Lead Lawn Technician position specializes in Initial services and trouble accounts to provide a higher level of expertise and customer attention of initial services and accounts with service-related issues. They are also responsible for the lawn retention efforts and creating lawn recovery plans for accounts and following through on the recovery process.
Duties include:
Complete the application of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides on a preset daily route Identify lawn and or pest problems, develop solutions to those problems, and implement solutions to correct deficiencies Communicate technical corrective actions Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and external Safely drive a company vehicle Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents Provide customers with general information about our various services Conduct service calls as needed Problem solving and/or complaint resolution
Requirements:
Ability to safely drive a large, heavy lawn truck Able to withstand long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, squatting Be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs Have excellent communication skills Be competent with the use of new technology Be organized and able to manage their own daily route Strong technical lawn and ornamental skills Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to partner with customers in implementing solutions The ability to diagnose difficult lawn issues and develop a corrective treatment plan The ability to train new hire lawn technicians and the ability to aid current production technicians Must be able to interpret guidance and direction from the lawn supervisor Must be flexible with the daily schedule To be qualified: At least 21 years of age Have a valid Florida driver’s license with minimal moving violations Must be skilled and knowledgeable in Lawn and Ornamentals High School Diploma or equivalent
Pay:
$17.00 – $19.00 per hour
