Lead Spray Technician Position Available In Franklin, Florida

Lead Spray Technician St. James Bay Golf and Pickleball Resort Carrabelle, FL 32322 We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Spray Technician to join our team. This role involves applying various chemicals and fertilizers to our unique 18-hole golf course and grounds at St James Bay Golf and Pickleball Resort. The Spray Technician will work directly with the Director of Agronomy and Assistant Superintendent. Responsibilities Apply golf and ornamental-approved pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to safety regulations and best maintenance practices (BMPs). Operate and maintain specific vehicles used for spraying applications. Conduct thorough monitoring of turf and landscapes to identify pest issues or areas requiring treatment. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including products used and areas treated as required. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide application. Qualifications Previous experience in golf maintenance, fertilization, and professional turf care is preferred. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Ability to work independently and be part of our golf course team. Knowledge of safety practices related to chemical handling and application is a plus. Experience operating turf Spray Machinery is preferred. Florida Department of Agriculture 487 (Turf and Ornamental) Commercial Applicator License required within 3 months of hiring. Pay $17 -$21 commensurate with experience.
