We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Golf Course Spray Technician to join our team at Kings Ridge Golf Club. As a key member of our grounds maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to promote the health and appearance of our golf course. Your expertise will help ensure our course remains a premier destination for golf enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chemical Application:

    Safely apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to established protocols and regulations, ensuring optimal growth and protection of turf and landscape.

  • Equipment Maintenance:

    Operate and maintain spray equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and calibrated accurately for efficient application.

  • Record Keeping:

    Maintain accurate records of chemical applications, including quantities used, weather conditions, and any observed outcomes, in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Safety Compliance:

    Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations related to chemical handling and application, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to monitor turf health and identify areas needing attention, contributing to the overall maintenance strategy of the golf course.

Customer Focus:

Provide excellent service to our members and guests by maintaining a visually appealing and well-cared-for golf course.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in agronomy, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in turf management, landscaping, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of pest management practices and the safe handling of chemicals.
  • Valid pesticide applicator license (or the ability to obtain one within 6 month period).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
