Job Description
Lawn Technician Clements Pest Control 8600 Commodity Circle, Orlando, FL 32819 Lawn & Ornamental Technician This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 year experience in landscape fertilization and spray pesticide applications or other manual landscaping duties.
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
- High School diploma required. College experience prefered. Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Applying fertilizer and/or weed control products to residential and commercial properties.
- Spray areas to control insects, fungus and weeds.
- Detailed inspection of all work for quality control.
- Comply with company, state, and federal safety procedures.
- Ability to speak with customers to explain application procedures and answer questions.
- Respond to service call backs.
- Report any issues or problems to regional manager.
- Complete internal reports as requested by manager.
- Attend and complete training and meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Physical Demands:
- Constant mobility including walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, balancing, stretching and standing for long periods.
- Daily physical labor
- Lifting up to 75lbs
Environmental Factors:
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- May withstand extreme conditions such as heat or rain.
- Exposure to vegetation, dust, dirt and insects.
