Landscape Tech/ Lawn Maintenance Crew Southern Stream Landscaping Saint Augustine, FL 32084 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Crew member to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work. Responsibilities will include various landscaping and maintenance tasks that contribute to the overall upkeep of the grounds. We service St Augustine, St John’s, Palm Coast, Bunnell, Flagler Beach, etc. Duties Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming/edging, blowing, weed control, and fertilizing to ensure healthy grass growth. Operate power equipment including zero-turn mowers, edger/trimmers, backpack blower, hedge trimmers, pole saws and chain saws. Engage in landscape maintenance such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance property aesthetics. Execute groundskeeping tasks including raking leaves, clearing debris, and maintaining pathways. Conduct tree care activities including palm tree/tree trimming, and removal as needed. Build and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Dig and prepare areas for planting or installation of landscape features. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team player. Attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment. Position requires physical activity and heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. Valid driver’s license required. Experience driving truck and trailer. Qualifications Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and removal techniques. Ability to operate various landscaping tools and machinery safely. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Pay will depend on experience.
