Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fertilizer Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying fertilizers, weed control products, and other treatments to lawns and landscapes, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients. The Lawn Fertilizer Technician will work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

Apply fertilizers, weed control products, and other treatments to lawns and landscapes according to established schedules and procedures Use and maintain equipment, such as spreaders and sprayers, in a safe and effective manner Monitor the health and appearance of lawns and landscapes, identifying and reporting any issues to the supervisor Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including answering questions and addressing concerns Keep accurate records of work performed, including the amount of product used and any issues encountered Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment as required Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in lawn care or related field preferred Knowledge of lawn care products, equipment, and techniques Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as bags of fertilizer, as needed Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Salary and Benefits:

Initial pay is $20.00/hour. After probationary period, pay will be commission based. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, and paid time off. Typical hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5:00pm. May be needed some weekends.
