Position Overview:
Responsible for the spraying/applications of fertilizer, weed control, and insect control for our lawn and tree/shrub customers every 6-7 weeks Responsible for performing one-time services seasonally such as core aeration and mole cricket prevention Evaluate the condition of lawn, shrubs, and trees and treating them as needed Manage and grow a route that consists of 500 – 600 customers Collaborate with your customers by evaluating and communicating potential problems Continuously monitor the fertilizing and pest control methods after application and communicate progress to customers Drive, use, and maintain assigned company vehicle and company trailer Safely operate and maintain the vehicle and other assigned equipment (i.e. core aeration machine) Able to work independently on your route while enjoying the outdoors Utilize smart phone technology to provide excellent quality service to your customers Other responsibilities as assigned Minimum requirements: Lawn Treatment Technicians must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years with a clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test Exceptional customer service & communication skills Willingness and desire to learn about the lawn and tree/shrub care industry Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail Be a self-starter who enjoys working outdoors and in a team environment Maintain a professional appearance at all times including a polished uniform and clean vehicle Ability to meet physical job requirements including but not limited to: independently lifting or carrying 50 lbs., walking, standing, and bend for moderate periods of time What we offer: An excellent incentive-based pay structure and mentorship throughout your career Paid vacations and holidays Boundless opportunities and career advancement opportunities On-going company training and educational incentives The freedom of an outdoor office while contributing to a greener environment Lobb-Alexis provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
