This position focuses on maintaining high standards in quality control, safety, and customer satisfaction while fostering a professional and proactive work environment. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership and communication skills to exceed customer and management expectations.

Key Responsibilities Lawn Health Management :

Monitor, diagnose, and treat insect, disease, physiological, and cultural lawn conditions using appropriate products and treatments in compliance with safety and label guidelines.

Equipment Operation :

Operate, calibrate, and maintain lawn care equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Administrative Duties :

Complete diagnostic reports, annual pesticide reports, and manage scheduling and record-keeping for the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program.

Client Interaction :

Engage with clients professionally, addressing their needs and maintaining a customer-focused attitude.

Maintenance :

Keep vehicles and equipment clean, safe, and well-maintained daily.

Industry Knowledge :

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the turf industry through hands-on learning and training.

Qualifications Education :

High School diploma or GED required; a 2- or 4-year degree in Landscape, Horticulture, or Business-related fields is a plus.

Experience :

1 year of lawn care or turf application experience preferred.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift 60+ lbs consistently, stoop, stand, and bend for 10+ hours daily, and work in adverse weather conditions.

Skills :

High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to read and write English, including interpreting maps and diagrams.

Availability :

Flexible to work a varied schedule, including Saturdays.

Licenses :

Valid driver’s license required, must also be able to pass insurance, which requires a clean driving record.

Work Environment :

Commitment to a drug-free workplace. Compensation & Schedule This position is also eligible for commission pay.
