Lawn Applicator Lawn Phix Bellingham, MA 02019 Job Overview Lawn Phix is seeking a reliable, experienced, and licensed Turf Applicator to assist with seasonal lawn care treatments in and around Bellingham, MA . This is a very flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for a solo operator or someone looking to supplement their schedule during the growing season. You’ll be responsible for applying granular and liquid lawn care products to residential properties using a ride-on spreader/sprayer. Routes are tightly grouped and manageable, with most properties in excellent condition. All products and scheduling are provided—just show up and apply. Duties Apply fertilizer, herbicides, and soil amendments to turf areas using professional equipment. Operate ride-on spreader/sprayers (Turfco) and manage liquid applications as needed. Drive to customer properties and follow detailed service instructions. Maintain safety and compliance with state pesticide regulations. Keep brief notes or records of completed applications. Communicate with Lawn Phix as needed for logistics and property details. Requirements Valid Massachusetts Core Applicator License (required) Turf care application experience (ride-on preferred, but not required) Ability to work independently and manage daily routes Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors Ability to lift and handle fertilizer bags, backpack sprayers, etc. Compensation $25-$35 per hour , depending on experience and efficiency 20-30 hours per round expected (flexible) Additional opportunity for tick and mosquito control applications, if licensed Additional Info ~40 properties remaining in 2025 season with 2-3 visits left All properties are scheduled, pre-marked, and stocked Minimal customer interaction; focus is on efficient and quality application Perfect for an independent contractor or someone looking to fill downtime with extra work
