As a Spray Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our landscapes by performing weed control and fertilization procedures. You will be part of a team that values safety, quality, and community engagement. Responsibilities Schedule and perform weed control and fertilization procedures, including inspections, maintenance, and responses. Operate a range of vehicles and tools for the application of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers. Apply chemicals and fertilizers in accordance with industry practices and regulatory agency rules. Maintain cleanliness of facilities and equipment, and manage inventory of materials. Keep accurate records of chemical and biological agents used. Evaluate and prepare cost estimates for various projects. Ensure safe and appropriate use and disposal of various chemicals and products. Inspect completed work and procure parts, materials, and equipment as needed. Adhere to company policies to ensure all work and activities are performed safely. Be prepared to work in harsh weather conditions and perform mitigation efforts in emergencies. Qualifications Experience in operating light to heavy vehicles and tools, such as trucks, sprayers, and spreaders. Knowledge of industry practices and regulatory agency rules for the application of chemicals and fertilizers. Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare cost estimates. Capability to work in harsh weather conditions and perform mitigation efforts in emergencies.
