Turf Technician Position Available In Henderson, North Carolina

Turf Technician Smith and Lloyd Landscaping Mills River, NC 28759 •Spray Technician / Turf Applications + Lawn & Landscape Support•Shop located in Mills River, NC | Full-Time | Pay based on experience We’re looking for a dependable team member with experience in turf applications—including fertilizer, pre-emergent, and post-emergent treatments—who can also jump in on mowing, weed-eating, pruning, and general landscape maintenance as needed. Our turf division is growing, and with the right person, this role can evolve into something bigger. What We’re Looking For:

Turf application experience (fertilizer, weed control, etc.) Mowing and string trimming skills Willingness to assist with pruning and other landscaping tasks Strong work ethic and reliability

Requirements:

English fluency Valid driver’s license Prior landscaping and/or turf care experience

Preferred:

It’s preferred if you already have your applicator’s license, but if you’re eager to learn, we’re open to training the right person. You must be good at math—spray rates and volumes need to be accurately calculated.

Bonus Skills:

Mechanical ability with trucks, trailers, or small engines Spanish-speaking is a plus •Also Open to Contract Work We’re also open to working with experienced independent contractors or small operators who are looking for steady, per-assignment opportunities.
