Lawn/Landscape Maintenance Specialist Apex Outdoor Big Flats, NY 14814 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn/Landscape Technician to join our quickly growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of lawn care/landscape practices. This role involves maintaining the health and appearance of various landscapes, utilizing both hand and power tools to ensure high-quality groundskeeping. The Lawn Technician will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain neat and healthy lawns. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Dig, plant, and maintain gardens, ensuring proper irrigation and care for plants. Assist in groundskeeping duties such as leaf removal, debris cleanup, and seasonal preparation. Maintain equipment by cleaning, sharpening blades, and performing minor repairs as necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with power tools such as zero turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent physical stamina; must be able to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
