job title: Lawn care / Landscaping technician Full time or part time position available for someone who has experience in the lawn care and landscaping field. You would be the 3rd man on an already 2 man crew. If you can show that you are more capable then the person I already have (which shouldn’t be too hard if your actually experienced) then you will become the priority for the full time hours and he will become the 3rd man or person I use part time if I don’t need both guys some days and if you want to be full time. You must at least have experience in the basics of weed eating, edging with metal edger & weed eater, blowing, push mowing, etc. Being able to use a zero turn mower is a plus but not a must. The job will also include doing mulch, pine straw, yard clean ups / pruning and other landscaping duties. This stuff will only be about 1/3 of the time, mostly it will be lawn maintenance. I don’t mind teaching some things as long as the ability / work ethic is there and you are able to pick up on things quickly, but my business is based on quality work not just cutting grass and slinging mulch as fast or slow as you can and doing it half ass. So if you don’t have any experience or don’t have the desire to take the time to do the job as close to perfect as you can and don’t know what your doing at all then please don’t waste your time or mine. Starting pay is $13hr but if you have experience and show that you are able to handle everything, make decisions on your own, know what needs to be done before asked, show that you want to do things right, then pay will be increased within a week! Your experience and the quality of work you do, and your ability to figure out what needs to be done next without being told over and over (after you figure out how we do things for a couple weeks) that will determine everything! I’m 100% fair and if you show your worth more money then you will get more money quickly. The $13 hour is just the starting pay to see what you can do so I’m not paying someone more than what they’re worth for a couple days till I find out they aren’t what I’m looking for.
