Job Description

Groundskeeping Supervisor 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 1750 NW 80th Ave, Ocala, FL 34482 The Groundskeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that grounds are maintained properly and efficiently and within compliance requirements. They assign work to Groundskeepers and Lead workers and coordinate with the team to solve any grounds maintenance issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Assigns daily work assignments to groundskeeping teams and supervises the completion of tasks according to established sustainability guidelines. Operates equipment such as, but not limited to mowers, blowers, edgers, and string trimmers. Follow safety procedures provided by supervisor. Physical Requirements:

Associate may be required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to perform duties in extreme temperatures. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

Requires good communication skills. Basic knowledge of landscaping and staff management is preferred. Must have or are willing to obtain a Florida Pesticide Applicators License. Must be willing to learn and follow directions. Possess a valid driver’s license.
