Part Time Manager Serenity Senior Residences Metairie, LA 70005 Overview Serenity Senior Residences seeks a responsible Part-Time House Manager to oversee evening and weekend operations, support staff, and maintain high-quality resident care. Ideal for an organized and compassionate leader with experience in caregiving, senior living, or hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Staff & Shift Management:
Support the Director of Nursing in daily operations. Supervise night/weekend shifts, ensure task completion, and handle urgent concerns. Manage schedules, approve swaps, and find shift coverage. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and resolving caregiver conflicts.
Resident & Facility Oversight:
Create and lead weekly activities. Help plan and host holiday parties and events. Ensure equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance. Conduct regular house checks, restock supplies, and oversee cleanliness.
Inventory & Purchasing:
Monitor weekly grocery and household supply inventory.
Additional Duties:
Assist caregivers as needed and uphold high operational standards. Provide emergency coverage (counts toward weekly hours). Support marketing efforts when required. Schedule & Requirements Work at least four days a week, with a rotating weekend schedule. Flexible schedule with additional administrative tasks outside of in-person hours. Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. Reliable transportation and ability to run errands. Requirements Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar setting is preferred. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Proficient in administrative tasks related to inventory management and staff scheduling.
