Our Nursery is a place where our youngest members of the Body of Christ are introduced to church as a safe and loving place that values them. We aim to create a space for our children to express themselves and grow in their ability to socialize with others. Purpose The purpose of a Nursery Care Provider is to: Create a welcoming and safe space for all children, infants through Preschool. Provide care and activities for children that encourage them to explore, create, play, and care for one another. Be a model of kindness and generosity. Duties The duties of a Nursery Care Provider are: Creating a welcoming and safe space, including Maintaining a clean, well-organized, and welcoming nursery. Warmly greeting parents and children when they come to the Nursery, ensuring the nursery is a place of joy, play, and friendship. Cleaning and disinfecting tables, toys and other surfaces. Noticing and carefully addressing the special needs of each child. Work collaboratively with church staff and nursery volunteers, including: Assisting in all areas, including play, cleaning, teaching, and other activities.
