Job Summary Cresco Labs is seeking aCultivation Manager to manage cultivation operations, specificallyfocusing in on Veg, Indoor and Greenhouse operations. Reportinginto the Director of Cultivation, the Cultivation Manager willoversee and lead various site projects, coordinate onsitefunctional groups across multiple departments, and serve as a vitalconnection between the site and corporate and/or externalresources. The Cultivation Manager must have the ability tounderstand a multitude of interests’, keep multiple stakeholdersinformed, and help drive decisions. Core Job Duties Oversees allcultivation tasks and processes, ensures proper documentation ofall applicable activities Manage the day-to-day operations forcultivation, including environmental monitoring, operating andmaintaining of control systems such as lighting and irrigation.
Manage and train a cultivation team of agents and supervisorsMaintain, track and audit SOPs & KPIs for the cultivationdepartment. Serves as a role-model and resource for cultivationstaff concerning products and services, policies and procedures,industry news, and changes in regulations. Responds to all gardenerquestions, concerns, or suggestions and takes action when necessaryto resolve conflicts. Responsible for delegating tasks and weeklyinventory checks to supervisors, leads, and gardeners in order tomaintain a compliant and clean cultivation facility. Ensure theexecution of cultivation procedures and nutrient protocols, keepingaccurate records and presenting the results in a timely manner tothe Facility Director & Director of Cultivation Adhere to CrescoLabs cultivation methods, and work closely with the rest of thecultivation department to develop and improve processes Ensureproper training and development of employees Schedule preventativemaintenance to ensure the highest quality yields without loss tofungus, disease and mold etc. Develop and deploy weekly gardenschedule to the Garden Supervisor as outlined by the FacilityDirector & Director of Cultivation. Track consumable inventoryrates and stock items associated with the cultivation department.
Assists Director of Cultivation, Facility Director and Sales tomanage and track quarterly strain planning changes for thefacility. Maintain and audit Production planner for the facilitybased on quarterly strain planning schedule. Required Experience,Education and Skills Bachelors Degree in Botany, Plant Science,Horticulture, Plant Biology or related field preferred. 3 yearscommercial agriculture and/or manufacturing experience. Cannabiscultivation experience required. 3 years managing and developing anhourly workforce, experience leading medium to large teamspreferred. Must be a strong leader with an acute business senseExperience with various grow mediums and irrigation methodsExperienced team leader with a positive attitude and vision for thefuture Knowledge of crop management and commercial agricultureAdvanced experience with using excel formulas, functions and pivottables Knowledge of plant diseases, pests and health Strongcommunication, organizational and leadership skills Requires workaround plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollenand/or dust. Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or dorepetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level. In accordance with any local and state compensation laws,the compensation listed is the current estimated range for theposition. Final offer details and future compensation may bedetermined by multiple factors including but not limited to,geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience,and other relevant factors.
