Parks Service Specialist – Bill Frederick Park City of Orlando – 3.9 Orlando, FL Job Details Full-time $20.28 – $25.86 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Doctoral degree Customer service Mid-level Master’s degree High school diploma or GED Cash register Driver’s License Bachelor’s degree Associate’s degree 2 years Patient observation Full Job Description Salary Range $20.28-$25.86 Job Posting End Date – Applications will no longer be accepted starting 05-13-2025 Job Summary Performs responsible public contact work involving park activities and enforcing park polices to ensure that Bill Frederick Park is clean and safe. Provides information to guests in person, via email, and over the phone. Patrols the park as a customer service liaison and performs inspections to ensure safety. Performs cashiering and clerical work – collecting fees via cash, credit card, or check. Works on and prepares daily reports on rental facilities, park conditions, park attendance, and events. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and the employee may be subject to extreme weather conditions and wildlife. The employee may be required to work rotating hours and have varying days off. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Turkey Lake Park Manager. Performance is reviewed through evaluation of inspection reports, condition of parks, direct observation, and results obtained.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years experience in public contact work, preferably involving outdoor venues or customer service required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver’s License required. Must pass a police background investigation that includes a polygraph examination. Cashiering experience desired.
