Responsibilities:

:: {#win0divHRS_SCH_WRK_DESCR100grp$1}::: {#win0divHRS_SCH_PSTDSC_DESCRLONG$1}[]{#HRS_SCH_PSTDSC_DESCRLONG$1}Primary responsibilities include

• Assisting guests while ensuring a high level of customer service
• Working a variety of assigned posts and events on the museum grounds and buildings
• primarily at the Center for Performing Arts
• Patrolling buildings and 66-acre grounds on foot and by golf cart
• Preserving the safety of staff, visitors, and the protection of the collection, buildings, and grounds
• Monitoring for suspicious activity, potential hazards, or safety issues.

As needed this role

• Occasionally utilizes computers to write reports, send correspondence, and submit work orders
• Handles emergencies such as medical situations, fire alarms or emergency evacuations.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to:
• Stand and walk for long periods
• Ascend/descend stairs
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Valid Driver’s License or ability to obtain prior to hire
• Driver’s Permits are not allowable.
