Part-time Parks Crew Member 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Gwinnett County, GA Class Summary This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits. Job Description This part-time Parks Crew Member position is responsible for maintaining the parks’ safety and cleanliness, as well as assuring the integrity of the County’s renowned park system. In addition, providing customer service assistance, performing janitorial duties and routine maintenance of grounds such as mowing grass, litter collection, and basic equipment maintenance. This position also works with pavilion rental groups by assisting in the rental facilities cleanliness and preparation for rental times. Essential Duties Interacting with the public during pavilion rentals Overseeing pavilion rentals Providing restroom upkeep and maintenance Conducting Park safety checks/General Park Inspections Assisting with Youth Athletic Associations Preparing Incident reporting as needed Performing end of day facility lock up and alarm Providing equipment preventative maintenance Performing other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned Public Speaking Duties Interacting with Youth Athletic Associations Other Job Requirements/Information This job may require working after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
