Outside Operations Staff Bayou Oaks at City Park – 4.0 New Orleans, LA Job Details Part-time $11 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Hospitality Customer service Driver’s License Guest services Entry level Full Job Description The Bayou District Foundation has a committed objective in their recreational plan to redeveloping City Park dormant golf facilities. City Park originally opened in 1902 with four golf courses, North, South, East and West, but today only the North Course remains which was rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina. Joining the North Course will be a newly constructed Championship Level Golf Course comprised of a 250-acre footprint. The layout of the eighteen-hole course incorporates portions of the former East and West courses and features many of the historic oak trees and existing lagoons that are characteristic of the Park. Designed by renowned golf course architect Rees Jones, the par 72 layout can be stretched from 5,100 7,350 yards and has been designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. In addition, a new Clubhouse, maintenance facility and renovated practice facility are also included in the rebuild. Bayou Oaks at City Park is currently seeking part time Golf Operations Staff .

This position is responsible for:

Responsibilities include: Greet and welcome members and guests to the course Provide members with thoroughly cleaned and stocked golf cars Give all guests miscellaneous information that may help them in playing the course Ensure that the Golf Car Facility is always clean and orderly Perform periodic car maintenance and minor special repairs Service the practice facility by driving the picker, setting the facility for play, replenishing supplies, etc. Qualified candidates will have the following: Must have a current valid driver’s license Ability to work as a team Demonstrate initiative Previous experience preferred, but not required Must be 21 years or older Must be available to work early morning hours Must be available to work weekday afternoons to close Benefits include: • Competitive wages Playing privileges Qualified candidates should email their resume and cover letter to: to email address referenced on the website and state Golf Operations Staff  in the subject line of your email.
