Job Description
General Utility Workers (GUWs) rotate between five lakeshore accesses and help keep the state park a beautiful destination for visitors. More specifically, GUWs are responsible for all aspects of general upkeep of the park’s grounds, trails, and facilities. Daily duties include, but are not limited to, mowing, weedeating, leaf blowing, trash pick-up, cleaning of campgrounds, cleaning of all facilities, including restrooms and bathhouses, and visitor assistance. Working weekends and holidays is required for this position. Positions scheduled for three to five 8-hour shifts per week.
