04/17/2025 3:02 PM The Village of Montebello is accepting applications for the part time position of Groundsworker (Litter Patrol). This is work of a routine but varied nature which involves physical labor and helper functions in the maintenance of grounds and recreation areas, including parks and Village owned properties. Related labor work may be performed as required. Motorized grounds equipment or street operated motor vehicles may be operated. The work is generally performed under the direct supervision of the building inspector or Village Clerk’s office. Hours are flexible.
Minimum Qualifications:
No formal education, training or experience required; however, requirements of the New York State Labor Law must be met and administered by the appointing authority. Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.
Other Requirements and Information:
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
Must possess a valid driver license appropriate for the vehicle to be driven.
