THE POSITION

OF WORK
As a Park Resource Ranger, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering informative presentations to park visitors and various groups, focusing on topics related to the park’s facilities, features, programs, and operational aspects. You will be tasked with patrolling the park’s grounds, boundaries, and facilities to ensure safety andpliance with regulations, as well as managing traffic flow on roads, trails, and in parking areas. Work also involves administering first aid to injured park visitors and providing support for search and rescue missions. You will have the opportunity to inspect buildings and park structures for cleanliness, serviceability, and safety hazards. responsibilities include a variety of duties such as registering visitors, collecting funds and issuing receipts, resolving conflicts within the park, and preparing daily ranger reports. Work Schedule and Information:

Full-time, seasonal Work schedule will vary due to the seasonal nature of the position, to include 5 days per week, 37.5 hours per week

Note:

This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. T is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2025 until November 2025 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to March 2026.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirements:

This position require possession of an active motor vehicle license.
You must obtain valid certification in standard first aid and adult, child, and infant CPR approved by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or equivalent within 60 days of .
