Job Description:

Smithfield Township is hiring Seasonal Parks Attendants to help manage traffic and collect admissions fees from out-of-county visitors at our community parks. Attendants play a key role in ensuring our parks remain safe, welcoming, and well-organized throughout the busy summer season. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with the public, and supporting vibrant community spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and manage traffic flow at park entrances Collect admission fees from out-of-county visitors Provide helpful, friendly interactions with all park guests Report safety or maintenance concerns to Township staff Help maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly park atmosphere

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older Must successfully pass a background check Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable and professional demeanor Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Weekend and holiday availability required; weekday availability a plus

Job Types:

Part-time, Seasonal Pay:

$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week

Schedule:

12 hour shift Evenings as needed Every weekend
