The technician will be responsible for inspecting customer premises, identifying pest problems, and implementing effective treatment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities Inspection and Assessment:

Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and assess the level of infestation. Determine the type of pests and possible entry points.

Treatment Application:

Select and apply appropriate pest control treatments such as products, traps, and preventive measures. Use specialized equipment and follow safety protocols to ensure the effective application of treatments.

Customer Interaction:

Communicate findings and recommended treatment plans to customers. Provide education on pest prevention methods and safety measures. Address customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up visits. Submit reports as required by company policies or regulatory agencies.

Maintenance of Equipment:

Ensure all pest control equipment is clean, functional, and stored properly. Perform routine maintenance on tools and vehicles used in the job.

Compliance and Safety:

Adhere to company policies, local regulations, and industry standards regarding pest control procedures. Use and store products in compliance with safety guidelines. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications Education and Licensing:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Experience:

Prior experience in pest control is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces, attics, basements, and outdoor areas.
