Ocala, FL Job Description:
The GHP Technician position is to perform service calls, initial services, and fill in for GHP Specialist routes when techs call out or on PTO. They may also provide overflow coverage of recurring services as deemed necessary by management. These technicians’ days can vary by service area and location daily and require flexible scheduling day by day.
Duties include:
Provide timely and effective pest detection, elimination and prevention solutions to an established route of residential and commercial customers Safely driving a company vehicle Long periods of walking, kneeling, squatting. Could involve walking up to 7 miles per day. Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents Provide customers with general information about our various services Conduct service calls as needed Problem solving and/or complaint resolution Enjoy working outdoors Not having a fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc. Not have a fear of tight spaces Be able to withstand long periods of squatting, standing and walking Be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. Have excellent listening and communication skills Performs other duties as assigned To be qualified: Must be at least 21 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent Must have a valid Florida driver’s license with minimal moving violation points
