Pest Control Technician Mosquito Squad St. Petersburg 6210 44th Street North, Pinellas Park, FL 33781 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing effective pest management and misting system solutions to residential and commercial clients. This role requires a strong understanding of pest control methods and the ability to operate various tools and machinery. The Pest Control Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service and expertise. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans. Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, adhering to all safety regulations. Utilize farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools for pest control operations. Provide lawn care and landscape maintenance services as needed, enhancing the overall appearance of client properties. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up recommendations. Communicate with clients about pest issues, treatment options, and preventative measures. Drive to various job sites using company vehicles, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled appointments. Assist in sales efforts by promoting additional services to clients based on their needs. Requirements Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided, pest control license is a plus. Familiarity with farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and provide exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn about pest control methods and sales techniques to enhance service offerings.
