Full-Time Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pest Control Inspector to assess residential and commercial properties for pest activity and potential infestations. This role involves inspecting structures inside and out, including attics, crawl spaces, and basements, to identify pest-related issues and recommend appropriate treatment plans. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and climbing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of properties to detect signs of pest activity and structural vulnerabilities. Enter confined spaces such as attics, crawl spaces, and basements to assess infestations. Work at heights , including ladders, to inspect for pest access points. Identify pest species and determine the best course of action for treatment and prevention. Document findings and provide customers with inspection reports and treatment recommendations. Communicate clearly with customers about pest risks and prevention methods. Collaborate with technicians to ensure proper follow-up treatments and solutions. Adhere to all company safety protocols and pest control regulations.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crawling . Work in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics, basements). Ability to climb ladders and work at heights safely. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.). Exposure to pests, dust, and chemicals (with proper PPE).
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in pest control, home inspection, or a related field preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to obtain and maintain state pest control inspector certifications. Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
