Bug Busters, a well-respected and growing company, is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our team, primarily serving the South Metro Atlanta area and surrounding counties near our Milledgeville branch. As a Pest Control Technician (Pest Management Professional – PMP) at Bug Busters, you will: Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues, potential harborages, and entry points. Develop and implement effective pest management solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. Educate customers on preventative measures, including proper sanitation, storage, and landscaping techniques. Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and services provided to customers, both verbally and through written reports. Safely operate and maintain a company service vehicle and all related equipment according to regulations and company policies. Handle, secure, and store pest control products and materials strictly following label instructions and safety guidelines. Identify opportunities to explain and sell additional company services to both new and existing customers, enhancing their pest-free environment. Accurately document all service activities and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner. Maintain required licenses, certifications, and/or registrations and actively participate in ongoing company training programs. Ensure your service vehicle is fully stocked with the necessary equipment, products, and materials for your daily schedule. Proactively take on additional tasks as directed by management to contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience (3+ years in a similar role is a plus). Valid Driver’s License (Required) and a clean driving record. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. Comfortable with occasional travel (7-10 days per month) which may involve driving up to 200 miles from the Milledgeville branch in a company vehicle. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen as Bug Busters is a Drug-Free Workplace. Individuals with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.

From $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
