We currently have 3 permanent position, the ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, treating, and preventing pest infestations at residential and commercial properties. The technician will work closely with clients to provide safe, effective, and environmentally responsible pest control solutions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest activity or potential vulnerabilities. Diagnose pest problems and provide recommendations for appropriate treatments. Apply appropriate pesticides, baits, traps, and other treatments to eliminate pests safely and effectively. Use integrated pest management (IPM) techniques to minimize environmental impact. Ensure all treatments meet industry standards and local regulations. Interact with customers in a courteous, professional, and respectful manner. Explain treatment plans, prevention strategies, and maintenance recommendations to clients. Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and follow-up questions in a timely manner. Provide advice on preventive measures, such as sealing entry points, proper sanitation, and other pest control strategies. Install and maintain traps, barriers, and other preventative systems to reduce future pest activity. Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment. Maintain accurate records of services provided, products used, and customer feedback. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and environmental standards. Complete detailed service reports, including pest findings, treatment plans, and follow-up actions. Maintain accurate inventory of pest control products and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle, ensuring all tools, equipment, and chemicals are stored safely and securely. Stay up to date on the latest pest control techniques, regulations, and industry standards. Attend training and development sessions as required.

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid driver’s license required. State certification or license in pest control may be required (or the ability to obtain it within a certain timeframe).

Experience:

Previous experience in pest control or a related field is a plus, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Skills:

Knowledge of pest identification, treatment options, and industry regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions. Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
