Job Summary:

Purple Pest Control is a private equity backed commercial and residential pest control service company based in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pest Control Technician to join our team who will be responsible for identifying, treating, and preventing pest infestations in commercial and residential properties. We are growing quickly and need someone with the drive and determination to satisfy our growth appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of properties to assess pest problems and determine the type of treatment required. Apply pest control treatments such as sprays, baits, and traps safely and effectively. Educate clients on the best practices for preventing future pest issues. Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, and services provided. Recommend and implement preventative measures to minimize pest-related risks. Maintain and ensure proper care of pest control equipment and products. Respond to emergency pest situations promptly and efficiently. Communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns or questions. Stay up to date with pest control techniques, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control procedures and product use.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Some positions may require additional certification or licensing, depending on the region). Prior experience in pest control or a related field is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication skills to explain pest control methods and maintain positive client relationships. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and working in various environments.
