Tree Climber/Trimmer A Sharper Image Tree Services’Inc 4320 West Pearl Avenue, Tampa, FL 33611 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and experience in tree trimming and the operation of bucket trucks. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring the health and aesthetic appeal of trees and landscapes. Duties Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health, safety, and appearance of trees. Operate bucket trucks safely to access high branches and perform necessary trimming tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions or needed repairs. Qualifications Clean drivers license with experience hauling trailers Previous experience in tree care is required. Proficiency in operating bucket trucks and other relevant equipment as well as climbing. Knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and proper trimming techniques. Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential hazards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
