Tree Climber/Trimmer Edwards Tree Service Sarasota, FL 34243 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and tree care, with experience in tree trimming and the operation of bucket trucks. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring the health and safety of trees while enhancing the beauty of landscapes. Responsibilities Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain tree health and aesthetics. Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access high branches. Assess trees for health issues, pests, or diseases and recommend appropriate actions. Maintain equipment, including rigs and tools used for tree care. Collaborate with team members to execute landscape maintenance tasks efficiently. Utilize GIS technology for mapping and managing tree locations when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all operations. Qualifications Experience in landscape maintenance or tree care is preferred. Proficiency in tree trimming techniques and knowledge of various tree species. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work. Physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor environments. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
