Tree Climber/Trimmer Arborview Tree Legends Ormond Beach, FL 32176 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of trees and shrubs through trimming, pruning, and care. This role requires a strong understanding of tree care techniques, safety practices, and the ability to operate various equipment safely. The Tree Trimmer will work closely with landscape maintenance teams to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Duties Perform tree trimming and pruning to enhance the health and aesthetics of trees. Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely for accessing high branches. Conduct regular inspections of trees to identify potential hazards or diseases. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure cohesive care of gardens and landscapes. Utilize GIS technology as needed for mapping and planning tree care activities. Adhere to safety protocols while working at heights or with heavy machinery. Assist in lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks as required. Experience Previous experience in tree trimming or tree care is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance, and gardening is beneficial. Experience operating bucket trucks or similar equipment is a plus. Knowledge of growing practices for various tree species is advantageous.
