Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced trimmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for trimming and removing trees and vegetation for our commercial, government, and utility customers. This role requires working at heights, using specialized equipment, and adhering to strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all safety regulations and industry best practices. Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other specialized equipment safely. Climb trees using proper climbing gear and techniques when necessary. Work in coordination with ground crew to remove debris efficiently. Assess tree hazards and determine the best trimming or removal approach. Communicate effectively with team members and utility representatives. Trim and remove trees and vegetation near power lines. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required). Prior tree trimming and tree removal utilizing a bucket truck required. Utility line clearance experience preferred. Knowledge of tree trimming techniques, equipment, and safety procedures. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions. Strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Available to travel and work overtime as needed.
