Respiratory Support Technician This positionprovides direct and indirect patient care and services in an officesetting in accordance with all governmental, accrediting, andorganizational policies and procedures. Utilization of allavailable resources to ensure a customer receives the appropriategoods and services in the most efficient and patient satisfactorymanner possible. Equipment included, but not limited to, are CPAP,BIPAP, Auto-titration set-ups and downloading, nebulizers, oxygenand portability.
Job Duties:
Develop and maintain a workingknowledge of current Respiratory Programs and HME products andservices offered by the company and all applicable governmentalregulations. Effectively convey ideas or written processes andinstructions to patients in a polite, informative, and appropriatematter. Complete all company, insurance, and/or government-providedpaperwork timely and entirely. Included, but not limited to;Delivery tickets, safety checklist forms, patient booklet receipts,ABNs, AMAs, equipment-specific instruction/cleaning forms, etc.
Initiate, maintain and perform follow-up calls or visits withpatients. Perform routine preventative maintenance checks andsimple repair as required by company policy or manufacturer’sguidelines. Assist with customer equipment problems duringbusiness/non-business hours and under emergency situations.
Troubleshoot all equipment failures calmly and patiently. Reportequipment hazards and/or product incidents as required inaccordance with company policies and procedures. Retain knowledgeof and consistently adhere to procedures for the use of PersonalProtective Equipment (PPE), infection control, and hazardousmaterials handling. Assume on-call responsibilities duringnon-business hours in accordance with company policy. Maintainpatient confidentiality and function within the guidelines ofHIPAA. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Strong verbal and written communication. Strong customer serviceskills. Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities andtasks. Decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills withattention to detail.
Requirements:
Minimum Job Qualifications:
HighSchool Diploma or equivalent. Valid and unrestricted driver’slicense from state of residence.
