As a Senior Level Project Architect, you will be responsible for leading project through all aspects of the design process – from programming through construction administration. Production work will apply and will require strong capabilities in ACAD. Candidates should have robust portfolios of completed work that communicates a high level of attention to detail and understanding of the construction process. A core knowledge of code requirements and specification writing is a must.
Essential Duties:
Production of Contract Documents for construction of structures
- Determines required effort and prepares estimates for cost and schedule of Architectural services for design and construction
- Plans, monitors and manages Architectural scope, schedule, and budget for successful project completion
- Develops project-specific designs, standards, specifications and details for unusual or unique situations
- Makes solid and implementable decisions in a timely manner
- Attends to details in preparation or review of drawings, and specifications
- Plans and monitors work so that broad tasks and specific details are followed through to completion
- Monitors scope, schedule, and budget and controls the work to the project plan
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of specifications for construction
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of presentation of Architectural design and detailing in construction documents
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Architectural design codes and standards
- Ability to work independently to effectively complete routine or moderately complex tasks
- Highly motivated self-starter who has demonstrated experience working with minimum supervision to determine and complete Architectural tasks while acting as part of a multi-disciplinary project team
- Skills in organizing and coordinating multiple projects while working with peers, and in planning, monitoring, and completing projects within that plan Education
- Architectural graduate of a 4 year ABET accredited University and has Architectural License in Pennsylvania.
