Job Overview:
As the Architect, you will manage and direct projects from concept to construction completion using cradle-to-grave concepts. This role is full time, onsite at Maxwell Air Force base in Montgomery, Alabama.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Design projects for the Air Force, including drawings and specs. Coordinate A/E designs for Maxwell Air Force Base. Schedule, track, and monitor all activities throughout the life of all projects. Comply with all applicable and most current OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DoD, AF, federal, state, and local codes. Coordinate site approval, applicable environmental documentation, and other required documentation have been coordinated and approved. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Mandatory:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an NCARB Accredited University. Master’s degree preferred. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified. Or ability to become certified within 6 months of hire. Minimum seven (7) years commercial project experience including at least five (5) years’ experience in a project lead role. Two (2) years of public/governmental organization experience preferred Ability to complete WENG 400 and 519;

within one year of hire. Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card. Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract. U.S. Citizenship.
